September Recap

I can’t let September end without recapping my adventures earlier this month! Between New York Fashion Week, catching up on work projects, and getting sleep, things have been crazy! But I’m happy being back in the groove of networking and writing, now more than ever!
 
A big THANK YOU to Charu Suri–jet-setting travel blogger and Editor-in-Chief of Beauty Stat–for the opportunity to cover the beauty looks for this season’s shows. I could have found a way to sneak backstage or go as a +1 with insider friends, but I’d rather contribute my talents to bigger beauty website. With over 30,000 Facebook likes and 60,000 online members, Beauty Stat is doing something right! Here are the remainder of my posts:
 
Being a makeup artist as well, it was great seeing my colleagues & friends working their brushes backstage!

My fave moment was meeting THE Ted Gibson (a la TLC’s What Not to Wear) backstage at Lela Rose and gushing about my admiration of him as an artist, entrepreneur & TV personality! I didn’t realize how starstruck I was until he insisted we take a picture together! (squeal!)

I don’t know if it’s my age, but covering just a handful of events & shows wore me out! I didn’t take a day off from work, so it was crazy running to a show, getting back to my desk and working, and getting my posts to my editor within 24-48 hours! 
 
But honestly, I’d do it again!
