My love/hate relationship with blogging
Hello readers! It feels good to be back in the blogging scene! I’ve neglected it over the past few months for a few reasons – it was just easier to avoid my blog, since I had sooo much catching up to do. I was always looking for the “perfect” time to update my blog—when the wind died down, the sun and the moon aligned, and when I finally shaved off the other things on my to-do list! Guess what, there’s absolutely NO perfect time to get all my marketing up to date! I realized that things do not have to be in perfect alignment in order to stay on top of my brand.
Right now I’m on a flight to Las Vegas for the International Beauty School Expo! During this 5 ½ hour trip, I had some time on laptop to do some things. My battery power lasts about 2 hours (it’s getting older!), so I had some real quality time to get some work done! After an hour and 45 minutes, I finally got to work on my blog update – with 4 minutes left on my battery! Regardless, I’m just happy that I’m actually in action, not just busying myself with activity. Clearing out my hard drive and sorting out my files were activities, but didn’t really progress towards my goal. Oh well! I’ll update you guys when I get back!
