NY Fashion Connect Show…THIS WEEKEND!
We’ll be doing makeup for this unprecedented event!
Ahh, the power of networking! I met Haize Rava, a fellow Filipina indie designer, when I did a fashion show at City College last year. We stayed in touch, myspace friends and everything, and she sends me an email asking me to do this event. This goes to show the power of sowing and reaping! Always stay in touch with people, make yourself known – even when you don’t think anyone notices you!
(From the website) This event is going to take place from 9-10:30 p.m. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. there will be an open bar/Networking event for fashion insiders. It is going to be hosted by VH1′s Amanda Diva. It will include red carpet, V.I.P seating as well as open bar. It is going to be an incredible fashion exhibit of all different types of designers. This will be a great event to network, see great fashion, as well as have a good time!
